Front-mounted jack
Classification :
PRODUCT DETAILS
The QYC - type jack is a through - core, front - clamping multi - purpose single - strand pre - tensioning and releasing device. It can be used for single - strand tensioning of bonded tendons or sequential tensioning of multi - hole anchorages. The jack is equipped with an anti - rotation device, which can effectively prevent the jack and steel strands from rotating during tensioning. During tensioning, it can achieve self - locking anchorage or pressure anchorage. If pressure anchorage is required, a jacking device must be installed at the top of the jack, and a diverter valve must be added to the oil pump.
Front-loading prestressing jacks (also known as single-strand jacks or portable single-strand jacks) are hydraulic jacks specifically designed for prestressing projects. Their primary function is to tension and release individual steel strands or anchor cables, making them essential equipment for prestressing projects such as bridges and slope stabilization.
Core Applications (Classified by Scenario)
1. Bridge Prestressing Construction (Primary Application)
Used for tensioning individual prestressing strands in post-tensioned bridges: During the construction of precast or cast-in-place beams such as box girders and T-beams, this tool enables precise tensioning of individual prestressing strands (e.g., 15.2 mm diameter), controlling the tension force to ensure the prestressing strength of the bridge structure.
Suitable for operations in confined spaces: In areas within or at the ends of bridge girders where heavy-duty multi-anchor jacks cannot access, this portable jack is used to perform supplementary and re-tensioning operations.
2. Slope / Excavation Anchor Cable Tensioning
Tensioning of individual anchor cables for slope support and excavation reinforcement: Tension and lock rock and soil anchor cables one by one, control the pre-tension force of the anchor cables, enhance the stability of slopes and excavations, and prevent landslides and collapses.
3. Tensioning and De-anchoring of Prestressed Members
Tensioning operations: Tensioning individual steel strands in prestressed concrete components such as precast box girders, railway sleepers, and utility poles to ensure structural strength.
Unstringing / Unloading operations: After tensioning is complete, tools can be used to unstring and unload the steel strands for component maintenance, strand replacement, and other scenarios.
4. Other Engineering Applications
Mine Tunnel Support: Tensioning of mine anchor cables to reinforce tunnel surrounding rock.
Hydraulic Engineering: Tensioning of individual steel strands in prestressed structures such as dams and aqueducts.
