Release time:

2025-09-19

“Clicking” sound during tensioning; excessive retraction after anchoring; or even wire breakage.

Problem:

“Clicking” sound during tensioning; excessive retraction after anchoring; or even wire breakage.

Causes:

- Insufficient hardness or wear of the clamps

- Incorrect height of the stop plate

- Oil or rust on the surface of the steel strand

- Oil return is too fast, resulting in poor clamp engagement

Solution:

1. Clamps must be in good condition and free of cracks; replace immediately if worn.

2. Use stop plates as specified by the manufacturer; do not mix different types.

3. Degrease and remove rust from the steel strand.

4. Retract the hydraulic fluid slowly; do not retract abruptly.
